Sustainability focuses on meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. The concept of sustainability is composed of three aspects - People, Planet and Profit.
Industries are one of the major contributors to sustainability issues and the cement sector is not an exception. But, as one of the most responsible sectors, the cement industry takes all possible necessary steps not only to reduce its impact but also make positive contributions towards the environment and society. At ACC, we are committed to play our role responsibly and contribute towards making this planet a sustainable one. ACC's sustainability strategy for the next decade is defined through its Sustainable Development (SD) Plan 2030.
We work with different member organisations and trade associations like Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Swiss-Indian Chamber of Commerce, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI),Cement Manufacturers' Association, Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA) India and more which help us achieve overall business objectives and commitments.
